Darren M. Rebelez

President, IHOP
Darren Rebelez was appointed to the position of president of IHOP in May 2015. As president, Mr. Rebelez is responsible for the overall strategic direction for all functional areas of IHOP.

 

Mr. Rebelez most recently served as executive vice president and chief operating officer for 7-Eleven, Inc., the world’s largest convenience store chain. During his career, he was involved in and led multiple functions for the company including operations, information technology and development as part of his responsibility for more than 8,300 stores and 5,000 franchisees.

 

Previously, Mr. Rebelez held executive level positions with ExxonMobil’s On the Run convenience store division, working directly with existing and new franchisees, leading the establishment of enhanced franchisee communications and implementing a franchise advisory council. Mr. Rebelez’s additional experience includes serving as vice president of category management and president of Fresh Serve Bakeries (Dunkin’ Donuts’) for Thornton Oil Corporation. He also held leadership positions with Fuddruckers restaurants and KFC. Mr. Rebelez has served as a director of Torchmark Corporation since February 2010.

 

Mr. Rebelez is a graduate from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He also received an MBA from the University of Houston.
