Amy Mason joined the company in September, 2016 and serves as senior vice president of global communications and consumer insights. A strategic communications marketing professional with more than two decades of experience leading global technology and consumer brands, Ms. Mason’s expertise is in the area of global reputation management; digital, social and traditional media engagement and the development of integrated communications strategies, programs and approaches that drive sales, brand equity and growth.
Ms. Mason most recently served as Chief Public Affairs Officer for Taco Bell, focused on stakeholder relations and elevating the brand heritage and culture through proactive communications and two-way engagement campaigns. She also served as executive director of the Taco Bell Foundation which helps youth and Taco Bell team members reach their full potential, starting with high school graduation.
Previously, Ms. Mason spent ten years at Edelman Public Relations and served as the Global Client Relationship Manager for Starbucks, a fully dedicated in-house leadership position, providing insights driven strategic counsel to one of the world’s largest retailers and helping restore the brand financial health and its core values. Ms. Mason also developed and launched the Edelman’s Digital Entertainment Rights & Technology practice, working with such clients as Starbucks Entertainment, Microsoft, The Motion Picture Academy, the National Association of Broadcasters, Netflix, The GRAMMY Awards and Warner Bros. Ms. Mason started her career in technology marketing communications working with companies such as HP and Apple.
Ms. Mason earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
